and how'd that go? What about herring rolling end over end after lesnar punching him? Did you not see lesnar throw Mir on the ground, then let him stand up?
I was pointing out the difference in the game plan between the two, and yes he let Mir stand up, and it was dumb.

He did dominate his opponent..However,he did not finish. So it's better to lay on the ground with him..Hit him with shots, but not enough to put him away then it is just to KO your opponent..
Doesn't change the fact he dominated Alves. I don't know what to tell you.

Yes, but GSP dominated by just laying on alves and he gets loads of credit, while Lesnar dominates by laying on Mir and getting good shots in using good strategy and he is just some big dude laying on people.
GSP got hurt and that is why he did it. If GSP had a track record of this it would be different.

I'm not trying to talk down about GSP here. I'm just saying I don't like how GSP is thought of as some dominating warrior. While Lesnar is looked down upon by quite a few for employing similar tactics.
If Brock GnP'd Mir for 5 rounds and won the stand up, than it would also be dominating regardless of whether or not he ended it. Not sure how this whole thing even got brought up. I am not hating on Brock, just saying that Fedor would beat him. I think Carwin can beat him if he gets the chance. Mir was looked at up as washed up until he beat Brock and then beat an old Nog.

Winner of Carwin/valequenz (total spelling disaster) will get a shot, and yes Carwin has power so anything can happen.

I'm not so sure about the whole mindset of "his only chance to beat Fedor is through GnP" people tend to forget that he was a college national champion in wrestling. So he does have that backround. He has more options then just being some big gorilla swinging his fists around, it's just what he's best at. That said, I do believe that Fedor would beat him 7+ times out of ten and Carwin definetley would present a major threat to him.

Fedor has defeated better wrestlers.

But not at 280lbs..Yes once again he has fought huge guys. There is only one fedor...Mindset,gameplan,execution..He is the master

However, there is only one Lesnar. Huge guy, with unmatched strength and base. Fedor has never fought a Brock Lesnar(physically),but Lesnar will never fight a better fighter, then Fedor.

If this fight ever happens we will now more about Brock and he will have to fight people who pose tougher matchups than he has faced thus far. Guys like gonzaga and carwin would be tougher than anyone he has fought thus far IMO.

So lesnar knocks out Randy by standing..Beats the shit out of Mir on the ground, and suddenly Gonzaga and Carwin are tougher matchups. I have a hard time believing if BL had wins over Gonzaga/Carwin you would honestly believe he would beat randy standing and pummel Mir on the ground.

Why not throw big nog out there? It would be a great way to see his career ended, and more sherdog suicides.

I would most definitely believe he would beat Randy standing if he beat Gonzaga/Carwin prior to the fight if he didn't fall on them immediately and GnP them all fight.

Sounds like a personal problem.
