Not trying to hate? You just basically said that Silva didn't do shit...
No, Silva is the shit, but he literally beat the shit out of Griffin. Griffin was so fucked up he couldn't even do a post fight interview and needed to be rushed out of the octagon because his face was basically broken. Anderson destroyed him and beat him standing up which is Griffin's game.

Honestly, I think a lot of "MMA Fighters" have taken the more brawler route and it's showing. There's a reason guys like Silva and Fedor dominate, they do so because they stick to their training and they don't fall into the whole catagory of "I am going to rush in and punch this dude real hard and hope that works" which as we can see is becoming more and more common.

In some cases it works, look at Brock, but in others, you run into someone who doesn't stray from the gameplan, and doesn't play their opponents game.

I will agree with you that Griffin isn't the worlds greatest martial artist, however, it is a serious contender and the former champ, tonight he learned what happens when someone won't change their gameplan to yours.

I hated seeing it go down that way, I think everyone loves Griffin, he's as blue collar as it gets, he's a tough guy, but tonight showed what happens when MMA meets Brawling :(

Agreed. Silva was basically toying with him and still won because he wasn't swinging for the fences.

Did anyone just catch that WEC title fight? Wow. Mini-Mark Wahlberg just knocked Miguel Angel Torres the fuck out. That should shake up the pound-for-pound rankings a bit.

The guy's name is Brian Bowles - had to look it up. He came out to Johnny Cash, which is pretty bad ass.

The ultra-stacked UFC light-heavyweight division just got a little deeper with the recent addition of “Little Nog” Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

Nogueira’s twin brother, and fellow UFC fighter Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira recently spilt the beans during a media conference call for UFC 102 which will be featuring himself and Randy Couture as a headliner.

“They’re going to announce that,” said the former UFC champion in regards to his brother’s arrival in the UFC. “I don’t know when. They’ve already talked to him, so for sure he’s coming to the UFC.
