Hell yea. He's a sick fucker. I still like Pride a lot better than UFC. I like their production a lot better, their rules, and their fighters.
I like Pride's rules better too. It seems like it's only a matter of time before UFC buys all of Pride's fighters though. I hate to see that. I liked in the grand prix tournaments how UFC would send over a rep to compete like Chuck did back in the day. Wasn't Coleman a representative too, and then stuck with Pride? I can't really remember. UFC should do something like that. That Open Weight tourny Pride did this past year was totally awesome. I was hoping to see a Cro Cop/Fedor rematch but oh well. I don't think Fedor is a human being. I really think he's a robot. He shows no emotion and has no conscience.

Ya, Fedor is sick. The scariest thing, is if you saw him in the streets, you would never know he is the baddest mother fucker in this galaxy. I don't think UFC can get some of Pride's rules because they are not allowed in America. Namely, stomps to the ground. The best Grand Prix were the ones back in the day where they were all in one night. The best MMA card ever is the 2000 Pride Grand Prix. That is where Coleman won, and Royce and Sakuraba had that crazy ass 90 minute fight.

Yeah dude, I remember reading about that fight. I remember watching the previews for Pride thinking it was just totally bad ass, blowing UFC out of the water. The old UFC tournaments were tight though. I remember a fight where Keith Hackney fought some fat fuck and repeatedly punched him in the balls as hard as he could. I was cringing, thinking to myself, make it stop, make it stop. Shit was brutal back in the day. No eye gouging or biting, the only two rules...and no time limit. And that's when dudes just went in there to brawl. It was a pit fight. Royce and Shamrock really brought the submission game to UFC, changed the entire dynamic.

Ya, I love Royce. I was kind of upset when he came back to fight Hughes. In his prime, Royce would have won that fight. I hate when fighters come back for no reason. I really hope Randy is prepared. Shamrock did so much for the game, but his brother is such a fuckin prick. Phil Baroni, who is in HammerHouse with Randleman and Coleman, is fighting Frank on April 2nd.

Same here dude. I really hope Randy is prepared. And it was such a no contest when Royce came back. He definitely would've beaten Hughes if he was in his prime. I was never a big Frank Shamrock fan either. He seemed way too cocky for me. "I'm tha best eva" is fighting him huh...what organization? I'd like to see that fight too. What ever happened to Guy Metzger?

It is under a co-promote banner between EliteXC and StrikeForce. Mezger isn't really doing anything. He had to pull out of a fight against Tito due to stroke-like symptoms and hasn't done much since. I think the next great fighter is going to be Mauricio Rua, "Shogun" Now that Wanderlei lost, he will have a chance at the title.

Every fight I've seen Shogun in, besides the Coleman fight, he dominated. He made Arona look like mince meat. I thought it was interesting that if Wandy would've beaten Arona, the two would've fought. That would've been interesting since they both train with Chute Boxe. If I'm Shogun, I want the 205 belt first and foremost, then I try move up in weight. As much as I like Coleman, I'm not sure if he could've gone the distance with Shogun, even though it was his first fight as a heavy weight. I think Shogun's youth would've been too much for Coleman. Rua vs. Fedor down the road is something I'd definitely pay for.

Ya, they (Wandy and Shogun) said they would never fight each other. Also, that fight against Coleman doesn't even really count. But that shit that ensued after was fucking crazy. Arona is really good too, and could be even better. I don't know if we will ever see Shogun and Fedor. Fedor has said he only wants to fight for a couple years, and pass his belt onto what of his students.

That shit was crazy...it was kind of funny to see roid rage Coleman step on Silva's throat during that mess. Had I have been there, my heart would've been racing a mile a minute. As far as Arona goes, he could be one of the best. That dude is stack diesel and a great fighter. I personally think he is undefeated against Silva. I didn't know about Fedor wanting only to fight for a couple more years. He's not that old, like 30 or something? Sounds kind of unusual. Maybe he knows he's the meanest mother fucker on the planet, no one can tie his own shoes. Might as well go out the best...dare I say...ever.

O, he is ridiculous. After that slam Randleman gave him, he really proved he is a fuckin' machine. I think part of it is he knows he is that damn good. Unless something happens where we see Fedor/CroCop II, I think Fedor will go relatively untested, and have more incentive to step down. I hated to see CroCop go to UFC for a few reasons. Firstly, because I wanted to see a rematch. Secondly, it just seems weird. CroCop just seems so PRIDE to me. Not that UFC doesn't have bad asses, but CroCop doesn't seem like the loud, asshole, Xyience drinker that is most UFC fighters.

Yeah, I totally agree with everything you just said...the Randleman slam was nasty. I thought for sure Fedor broke his neck. SICK!!!! I wasn't sure how I felt about CroCop going to UFC either. He's not going to find too much in the UFC. I think he'll get bored. And you're right about his persona. He has a subtle cockiness to him, but he's not a super ego maniac. I think a lot of the Eastern Europeans are like that. Most of those guys, after they stomp your brains in, say thank you, congratulate the opponent, and walk back to the locker room. Just another day at the office. In the UFC, I really like Vera. Dude is legit. He should be getting close to where he feals comfortable in any fight. I know he wants the 205 belt, but I can see him with the heavy weight title eventually if and when CroCop has had his fill.

Randy looked great on his feet and on the ground, Franklin was dominant, Hughes was as dominant as he could be with a guy who was scared to death, did anyone else notice the broken nose in the Lambert fight? Damn.
