says the guy living in...what a fucking joke. The team, the state and the stadium.

essentially nixes that place from the winter classic. then again potential playoff in college football, or are they not worried about being either a) good enough to make a playoff or b) certainly not good enough to host a home game.As planned, the stadium would be in use from Sept-Nov and 'winterized' after that. No real need for the stadium to be designed for winter use.

OneBuckeye;1834539; said:^ Right. If they built a stadium that could do outdoor games in the winter I doubt the stadium would be as large and nice as it already is or they would have blown the budget. UM doesn't care that the NFL and Vikings are footing the bill for the shoveling and winterization. So when they aren't spending the money in the winter why winterize?

there should be home playoff games in snow occasionally, just like the nfl.BigWoof31;1834565; said:HEY! WHY DON'T THOSE DANG LAZY, FAT, GOOFBALLS IN THE SEC WANT TO PLAY GAMES IN THE SNOW AND COLD! THAT'S REAL FOOTBAW! THEY ARE PUSSIES AND CAN'T HANDLE THE COLD TEMPERATURES.
THERE SHOULD BE COLD WEATHER BCS GAMES! HARRUMPH, HARRUMPH!
