Thoughts
1. Munford was on the bike between series so somethings not good.
2. No idea what fixes the run game now. I think spreading the field but that will never happen so.
3. Penalties are a real issue
4. Dobbins should play most of the time but not on short situations.
5. This team is on borrowed time the way they're playing. They will lose next week without a better effort.
6. KJ Hill is our best WR so make him a fucking starter. Enough of this "hero blocking" BS.
7. Shut out in the 2nd half! The offense though just up and down all day.
8. The crowd was horrible all game. No noise and for fuck sake learn how to wait until a timeout to go to the bathroom. I almost slapped someone

It’s not my problem, but the guy whose problem it is and his weak leadership and nepotism dragged the reputation of my alma mater through the mud. If I’m going to have to answer to his dipshittery whenever it’s brought up, then I can get pissy on a meaningless message board.

I say this because that is what’s been said for weeks before this. Today was the “get the run game going” game. They failed. The run game is officially a major concern.

I didn't watch the game, but I just looked at the score on my phone. Problem wasn't Haskins (400 yes, 3td, 0 int). Why the lackluster offense?

If your only measurement for happiness is beating Saban then you’ll usually be unhappy.
This is actually what is so disappointing about this fan base, every single game we are apparently playing against Bama. I’ve got news for you, we don’t have a shot at playing Alabama until December or January so we don’t have to beat them until then. Now if I’m being honest, I don’t expect us to beat them because they are clearly playing at a different level then we are at the moment. That said, there is still plenty of time to improve and perhaps peak at the right time. I’d like that to happen but I don’t expect it. And if it doesn’t happen I’ll be disappointed in that game but I’m pretty thrilled to win today. Because that’s what they were asked to do and they did it.

They just have to come up with a different way to insert running plays organically. I'd like to see them run more uptempo after first downs and try to attack the D consistently in that way, and build play actions off of it. Right now it just seems like the coaches are thinking, "Well, we haven't run in a few plays..." and forcing it into a drive. You obviously need a running game and can't give up on it, but I'd like to see a bit more reason behind it rather than feeling like it's being done just for the sake of balance.
I guess the best way to say it is that the running game has no rhythm.

Yesterday’s water cooler at the office is today’s Internet forums. Like everything else today, its more immediate and in this case easier to say what you want.

I’m just sick of the runs that stretch out to the sidelines and when they run up the middle, they’re cute delays. Too often, there is no momentum on that run up the middle. It’s a stand still and go or a slow go and then some cutesy step before hitting a hole. Maybe those are all that stand out and it’s not as bad as I’m making it. I definitely saw some decent up the middle runs today. Just not very much at all.

In the end, the best problem to have is to have areas that need fixed after improving to 7-0.

I see no reason Tate Martell shouldn’t get snaps on 3rd and 4th and 1’s to keep defenses honest on the QB keep.
It wouldn’t be that different than when Tebow was the short yardage specialist. I think it’s such a green light for defenses to crash, it’d be much more efficient to have Tate handle the short yardage situations.
