Spielman better drop Griese today while he has a chance cause Griese might be on VS after that taco comment.

Who's the back if something happens to Hall? Is Martin healthy? Maybe Storm Klein would come in? :tongue2:

 Unlikely. Probably try and go with Hall and Martin. More runs from Pryor. And MAYBE Berry, if he's even dressed.

Im guessing we would keep it in Borens hand for short yardage and bring in Martin sparingly.

278 total yards vs only 142 for Minny. Gotta finish some of these drives or we'll let them right back in it with one play.

On the positive side, the offense looks 10 times better than last week and are moving it nicely. Baby steps I guess.

It is absolutely baby steps. This is Minnesota after all. The number 10 offense in the Big 10 vs. the number 11 offense in the Big 10. Every little bit helps though I suppose.

Had 278 yards of first-half offense...just need to maintain that in this half, and be more effective in/near the red zone, and we'll be fine.

It was also encouraging that the Offense was able to have a long sustained drive in the 1st half. No points to show for it but at least they were able to give the defense a nice rest.

I think I gave up on him a little bit early, but Bryant Browning looks like a different animal out there. He's always had the size, and today, he's showing he has the skills. The 4th down play in the 1st, Browning shut down TWO defenders on the run.

Yeah, Browning has been a stud this game, hopefully the light has come on this week in practice. im sure the coaches were getting on them, talking about how important their play is.

Also, Cordle = WOW factor on the line. kid can play anywhere and play well.

I am in agreement that the offense looks much better this week. If nothing else, TP is throwing good non-completions. On some, the receivers are dropping the passes, and on others, he is throwing off target, but the defense has no chance to intercept. The one interception was a case of staring the receiver down, but it wasn't horrible, since minny wasn't in the position where they could capitalize.

I am fine with him only completing 1/3rd of the passes if he doesn't turn it over. He looks good throwing from the rollout. Fewer Penalties is good. Fewer turnovers is better.

Defense playing well. Webber's poor throws a result of pressure, or even just the threat of pressure.

Hope we finish drives and come away with points in the 2nd half. Minnesota is doing nothing, but I'd still like to see more than a 7 point lead.

Agreed. A healthy O-Line will be the key to this offense's success. If they can open up holes for the run game, and give Pryor time to make good accurate throws, this offense could surprise many.
