Per a team source, the Falcons aren't interested in Moss or TO due to character issues.
yep Blank is keeping with the same stance he had the last two years. TO's first choice before going to Dallas was Atl. because he lives there during the off season and Blank wouldn't even consider having him. He also wouldn't allow McKay to try to trade for Moss a couple of years ago because of his problems. The "Falcon filter" remains intact.

Falcons adamant Vick won't be traded

By STEVE WYCHE
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 01/24/07 Michael Vick isn't going anywhere.
In light of the recent controversy surrounding their three-time Pro Bowl quarterback, the Falcons insist they have no plans to trade or release him before the 2007 season, according to a spokeswoman for team owner Arthur Blank. In fact, Vick will be back as the team's starter, thwarting speculation about his status or stature with the franchise.
In addition to the desire to keep Vick, the salary-cap ramifications of trading or cutting him would make a move prohibitive.
"There are no plans to trade him or cut him," Kim Shreckengost, executive vice president of operations for Arthur M. Blank Group, said. "Michael is our quarterback and the leader of our team. We have a new head coach [Bobby Petrino] who is anxious to start working with him. Everyone has high expectations of him going into next season.

Thats fine, but why not try to make him into a RB. I know this has probably been discussed before but dont you think Vick could be a very dangerous weapon here, if they could pick up another QB to start?

Yes it's been discussed in this thread. Atlanta has many issues, but RB is not one of them. Dunn is very productive, and Norwood is a very promising youngster.

I loved watching Norwood run in colleg. That sucker runs hard. The pros are a different story, but I look forward to watching him for years to come.

Norwood is a star in the making...Kid was the fastest rb in the draft last year and has nice size to go with that speed...

I see some 1000 yd seasons in his future, and if he starts catching the ball out of the backfield he could become a poor man's LT type back...

check Norwood's stats from this year in limited time. Atlanta has many needs, RB isn't one of them. Turning your 100+ million dollar starting QB into a 3rd down back seems a little strange no?

Vick can't even pronounce audible. What an ignorant douche. Initially, I thought Petrino had lost his mind, but now I think it's brilliant. He's making it known way up front that he's not going to get burned like Mora and Reeves. If Vick performs (which he won't), great, but when he flames out, Petrino's covered.

Fucking Mexico.
