I love it. The guy has 1 decent year with a cupcake schedule and they extend his contract. Hopefully it will be another 10 years before another bowl game in Brown Town.

Considering he led the team to its first winning record in a decade, and the team has shown progress over the last three years, letting him stay on for five more shouldn't be much of a surprise. What's the worst that can happen...revert back to perennial sub-.500 seasons?

We'll see if he can replace Tuitama. I don't expect he can.

Tuitama's backup was a true freshman, so he's going to take a little while to get broken into that spread system they have. Plus they lost their best receiver in Mike Thomas and probably their left tackle who was really good.

Very unfortunate for us ASU fans. We hoped to see Mike Stoops in Tucson forever. I'm sure they will get Bill Cowher or Gruden to come and coach though....
