The only problem i have with getting a new one, is losing all my saved games and achievements. Unless there is a way to transfer all that over. Does anyone know of a way. I know you can transfer from one HDD to another with the current 360s (or just move your current HDD to a new machine), but i don't know how you would do it with a new one.

I'm on my 2nd 360 currently...my old one (which i got the day they came out) red-ringed about 3 months ago. I was quite happy it lasted as long as it did.

Is there a way Gamestop can transfer data over to another Xbox HDD? I hope there will be a way to transfer data from an old 360 to a new one. To get rid of old systems, the best thing to do is sell them on eBay or Craigslist. My friend just sold a red-ringed XBox, with no HDD, on eBay for $30.

They have a $20 transfer cable. I'm curious how gamestop would do this if I wanted to trade my 360 and hdd in and still keep all my data.
how much data do you have to transfer? I have a memory card I don't use that I could sell you.

Definitely avoid GameSpot for systems. They are a ripoff.

You can transfer all your data to a flash drive, or buy the transfer cable. Those are your two options.

Wow, I didn't realize how low the 360 prices are on ebay. It looks like that gamestop is a better option than ebay if you have those accessories.

Are they still giving you $50 for a hard drive that costs $14 on ebay?

Xbox Live to Offer $100 Gold Family Pack

Now if this could be split up between multiple 360's this would be awesome. I'm sure that was one of the first things Micro thought of.

This is really only worth it if you have 3 or 4 people on the same plan. Otherwise you are paying the exact same thing if 2 people are on it. Might even be more expensive because i think normal Gold is $49.99.
