This is really only worth it if you have 3 or 4 people on the same plan. Otherwise you are paying the exact same thing if 2 people are on it. Might even be more expensive because i think normal Gold is $49.99.

Somehow my password for my login for my xbox live account got changed. The email used to login is no longer active, so I can't reset the password. I got an email about 11:30 the other night saying that my account had been automatically charged for my renewal. So when I went to get my debit card off my account I couldn't. Of course the email had to be sent out 1/2 hour before the renewal went into affect and all the phone help lines were shut down for the night. Otherwise I would have loaded up on discounted cards like jwins was saying.

Here's a question...the new slims, why is the memory smaller? Or am I missing something? My 20GB HD on my Pro is bigger than that, say it's not so.

The regular ones have 120 GB in them, this is a model comparable to the "Arcade" model of the old XBOX 360s.

Gotcha...I guess there's a video of using the current HD and putting it in the new slim 360. Still too much work for me. Until my Pro dies, I'll wait.

Right, except those had zero hard drive space, you had to add a HD or use a memory card of some sort.

4 GB is plenty of space for save files. It won't be enough to download big movies or install games to the HD (to avoid spinning the disc), but it is enough for a basic user.
