The NXE install game to HD feature just came through big time. My copy of NCAA FB 09 ate it a few days ago, and Best Buy won't exchange it. I rented a copy for $3, installed that to the HD, and now play with my scratched disc in the tray (unreadable but works enough to know what's in there).

The TV shows on Netflix are a better value than the movies, which are a bit limited by Sony's squabbling.
apparently some of the sony title's are showing up slowly... agree on the tv... but there are some good movies hidden in the instant streaming

Yeah, I had an issue with fallout occasionally locking up when I was leaving my apartment, so I decided to try the install to HD feature, no more lockups, that made me really happy.

Jwins since my disc is ALWAYS giving me the unreadable message does the install to HD feature basically eliminate that? If so that would be clutch
I couldn't install my copy of NCAA to HD, but was able to install using another copy... then play from hard drive with my scratched copy in the drive.

My disc would display NCAA FB 09 in the NXE menu, and play the intro video, but eat it as soon as I hit start or the video finished.

So at worst, you should be able to borrow or rent a copy of COD4, install, and then be able to play.

Do you people store your discs in boxes of gravel and broken glass or something? :tongue2:

No and thats what pisses me off. I think its actually a defective 360 DOING the scratching. Needless to say got both CoD and NCAA (only two games I really play) installed, and perfection ensued.
