Michigan State Spartans (official thread)

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but hasnt TTUN made a practice of hiring family members (and coaches) of recruits? maybe they stopped this when rule was enacted and MSU didnt but Devin Bush's Dad and Peppers & R. Gary HS Coach come to mind.

Call the candidate that turned you down a "waffling flake" on radio. Good idea. This should help resolve your coaching search problem...

It makes sense that someone that spent their life in the wealth management business might think anyone who turned down more money for any reason was a flake.

Edited to add: I don't mean to disparage people in wealth management, there are plenty who care about more than just money.

That doesn't tell the story NF. He was 74-7 at GVSU with 2 National Championships, and he took over a total rebuild at Miami, and turned them into MAC champions last year.

Fair enough, but 6 years in in Oxford and he has one winning season (8-6) which was this last year. Total rebuild or not, it's the MAC. A 30-45 record, and six years to achieve a winning record, regardless of FCS success, is not a ringing endorsement.

Well, talking shit about guys that turned down your dumpster fire is certainly one way of attracting others...

Sparty's just getting started with the spartying. Apparently, Fickell taking a couple of days to decide on a multi-million dollar job and then giving a firm, polite "no thank you." is wrong. Prying into his son's snapchat though is just A-fucking-OK.
