I don't know exactly when they did away with that rule about the team who hadn't been to Pasadena in the longest, but I'm glad they did. That was a horrible rule.

The tiebreaker procedure, as listed on the conference website when I checked last week just says that in the case of a tie where the two teams didn't play, the team with the higher BCS ranking gets the automatic berth. I'd imagine it's up to the bowl games themselves when they make their selections to determine who goes where.

Alright, then we need an Iowa win next week. I just don't see Purdue, Minny or Senile State has being able to take down Sparty.

Oh, they were being Sparty. Its just that Northwestern managed to choke away the game at the end like they always seem to do. I think we'll see Sparty be Sparty and blowing a lead here in the next few games.

Db what were you thinking you had him covered and then just wander off away from him.

Sparty coaches noticed on film that the guy blocking the gunner would follow him for 10-15 yards, then peel off toward the sideline in order to avoid being hit by the punt.

But obviously he should have been told not to do that until the ball is kicked - especially in 'punt safe'.
