Michigan Coaches go running for Pros

it gets worse. Rumours are Lefty is supposed to be interviewing with the Pats next week. I'd bet Brady puts in a good word for him too.

If you're angry now, imagine if Lefty leaves this sinking ship too?
for another nice recap on "rumours vs facts" click here:

Imagine if both English and Lefty leave...the two most energenic, the two best recruiters, the two best position coaches.

Holy crap, this might be an huge, HUGE disaster in the making...

It doesn't matter. At scUM it all starts at the top, and that is LLLLoyd. A coaches demeanor tends to rub off on his team. Watch his behavior on the sidelines during any big game (hell any game really) and you see why his teams consistently get beat by inferior opponents, and can't hold leads. Most great coaches have an air of calm about them on the sidelines, or at least SEEM in control at all times. Can anybody say "in control" describes LLLLoyd?

the one assistant that every michigan fan wanted caned (Hermann) is still alive and well as DC. Good news for OSU fans.

I'm not really sold on English's ability to develop DB's, but he was a great recruiter out on the west coast. He was probably their best defensive coach though (which isn't saying much).

I wouldn't be surprised to see Loeffler bail out soon. He sees the writing on the wall. As long as LLLLoyd is around the incompetence will also remain. Loeffler is another good recruiter.

It really is pretty beautiful... looks like they are pretty sure loeffler may be next. Carr kept his two pals that are awful coaches, and "promoted" the
two good coaches to the NFL (assuming loeffler goes to the pats).

The meltdown is just beginning:

Carr is a disgrace to the program. This is just a clearer example
Tribune report says English turned down a co-DC spot. This really adds
Loeffler would be a huge blow...he's seen as their "Boy Wonder" up there.

So much for their NFL QB factory angle...

Losing Loeffler would really hurt their standing with Ryan Mallet as well. It's funny, seems like the rats are all sticking to this sinking ship while the engineers are fleeing for their lives. Looks like TSUN could be in some deep doo doo butter .

First of all these fuckers are delusional regarding all this recruiting talent they bring in. Its pretty clear to anyone who has been watching the past few years that the level of atleticisim on D is simply not that good.

It seems the NFL scouts agree with me. According to the NFL Players official site and scUM rivals site these are the scUM defensive players currently on NFL rosters and their draft positions.

Markus Curry-FA
Larry Foote-4th round
Ian Gold-2nd round
James Hall-FA
Victor Hobson-2nd round
Marlin Jackson-1st round (repress urge to laugh)
Dahani Jones-FA
Cato June-6th round
Roy Manning-FA
Shantee Orr-FA
Shazor-FA
Josh Williams-4th Round
Charles Woodson-1st round

13 total
7 drafted
2 1st rounders
6 undrafted FA's

If I made a mistake on anyone I apologize but one guy here or there isn't going to change the trend. Their defensive talent is sub par.

Even seeing all this unfold over the past few years what does scUM do this year? Recruit 2 DB's which puts all their eggs firmly in next years recruiting basket. Now, according to them, their losing the 2 best recruiters on the staff. It takes no great intellect to see the potentially devestating turn this could take.

These gusy think recruiting and talent are going to start suffering? I have bad news for them, it's been going on since 2000. The sobering thought for them is that it could very well start getting much worse.
