Michigan Chatter - 2004

I think its safe to say that OSU stepped it up the biggest in this game. We were a much more solid team coming into the 02 game. I can't remember being more proud of players playing out of their mind when it really mattered. This doesn't take away from the 02 teams (or other ones), but those teams had a lot more experience and confidence coming into THE GAME.

Well, one of you says 95 ND was the loudest...another says 02 PSU was the loudest...i've been to all 3...and i'm going to say 04 scUM is the loudest. I sat in the same seats for all three of those games...North endzone...and not just the noise, but the excitement and the rowdiness throughout the whole game. And not just while on defense like in 02...but the place was electric while we were both on offense and defense. I believe that's as loud as The Shoe can get. Maybe 02 PSU got there as well...but I do not believe a crowd can get any better than that.

And as to the comment that a bowl has to get louder than a double deck stadium...I would have to disagree completely. In the Shithouse...the sound isn't trapped inside, it doesn't echo off of anything, it just goes up and out. But in The Shoe...it echo's and bounces around and is right on top of the players instead of all spread out. That's what makes The Shoe the loudest stadium in the Big 10.

P.S. Vcash equals 202 :) That's for betting 101 on the 101st GAME!! GO BUCKS!!!

I agree - Davie always seems to have something to say. Also, he's one of the rare analysts who teaches the viewer about the game, and makes you feel like you're drawing up plays in the dirt with him - much like Dick Vermeil used to do when he was in the booth. Bob Davie has forgotten more about football than I'll ever know.

Moron Clarett....

From now on I shall refer to him as "HWSNBN". The acronym standing for "He Who Shall Not Be Named". It's kinda catchy if not original, but then nobody has to see his ugly name in print when I wish to rip him a new asshole.

I don't want to overstate the importance of this one, but I think it was critical for the program. I think we were at the crossroads, and it could have been possible to see us as a program in decline. Instead, with the big win, I really think we are on the rebound and we certainly can be seen as on a par if not above UM in our recruiting efforts. Just huge.

Tressel better send all of us fans a sticker (or maybe just put a big one on the scoreboard for us), because that 3rd and 1 fumble was earned byt he crowd. And we made Michigan blow 2-3 TO's in the first half.

The only time the crowd wasn't louder than I thought possible was right after Michigan's second score. But that didn't last very long, and our fans held strong and stood behind the players who more than answered the call.

Congrats Bucks

Great win today. Helped out the Hawkeyes to make Michigan share the Big Ten title with us. Im sure most Buck fans wouldve rather seen the Badgers in Pasadena than Mich. but us Hawks did what we had to as did you Bucks today.
