Miami Heat (3x NBA Champions)

I am shocked, SHOCKED! that a Michigan fan living in Columbus, Ohio would feel the need to be the most active voice defending LeBron James in a thread full of hatred for him from Cavs fans

Look, the Heat have positioned themselves as one of the most hated franchises in sports because three pussies didn't want to compete and colluded to all sign on the same team...the Miami Heat. So, with you being the only apparent Heat "fan" on an entire board centered around a college program in the state that the head douche spurned, I wouldn't expect much in depth basketball talk unless you enjoy conversing with yourself. I'm sure there are Miami Heat boards out there for that...

I would like to point out that I don't defend the stuff he's done off the court. I'm already on record in the other thread saying the way he went about all that crap was wrong. I've also called him an idiot for his karma tweet. All i'm doing in this thread is trying to talk about basketball.

Heat looked awful in the 4th quarter. They returned to their first 15 games form where everyone just stood around and watched Wade and Bron try to win the game possession after possession. Then you had Arroyo chucking up bricks from beyond the arc, and Miller going back to being a statue. All that being said, Chalmers had a WIDE OPEN look to tie the game with 10 seconds left and clanked it, but not before blowing a 10 point lead going into the 4th.

Amare is one of the best passing big men i've seen since Chris Webber.

*insert time out joke here*

that is what lebron does. he stands and dribbles away the shot clock and grinds the offense to a halt. it will be even more pronounced in the playoffs. the heat better hope they don't have to deal with the knicks in the first round, or else they may be making a quick exit.

That's one way of looking at it. Another way, however, is to realize that the Heat managed to lose to a team that shot 10-33 from 3 pt range and a woeful 36.1% overall from the field.

I thought this thread was for hating the Heat as a whole and the Lebron thread was for hatred toward him....afterall why would there be a Miami Heat thread on an Ohio State forum....Is there a Golden State Warrior thread?

then you should have continued bolding the part where I said they blew the lead going into the 4th quarter because of awful play

The Heat continue to be a difficult team to figure out--they've won 7 in a row, but last night they needed a 4th quarter comeback to win at home against a team that's 7 games under .500. I still don't think they have the drive to plow through the staunch competition they'll face in the playoffs.
