Why don't these freaking people ever learn?

And here is the one thing... depending on the "people" you're referring to... I guess... and part of the reason, no matter how long this went on... and why, ampong other things I've already mentioned... there shouldn't be a death penalty here so long as the "adults" (the coaches and administration) didn't have too much a part of things and that is that the players-- college students-- are a transient population.

For the Buckeye Fans among us, that means that TP, Mike Adams, Devier Posey Don't get to learn from Maurice Clarett or Cris Carter... they were in grade school or, in Carter's case, not born... or.. really young, whichever...

THe kids never learn. If you're 20 and do something bad in 2010, you can't expected to learn from someone who did some thing wrong when you were 13. (Or whatever)

And I think, honestly, fans obviously forget that, coaches shouldn't, but do... and that's part of the issue....

Anyway, this is all a fucking unfortunate trainwreck....

Someone fed ex McGahee a ring from a vending machine and tell him to shove it up his ass, none of this excuses hypocrisy.

I disagree 100%.

Any knucklehead with even a lick of sense, has to know partying on someone's $1.5M boat ain't a good idea...

Never mind tittie bar visits without you paying a penny...

But, yeah, if the adults/staff are/were involved, l have no pity on them, nor leniency.

if i were a hurricane fan, my primary hope right now would be that no institutional complicity is uncovered. reading between robinson and wetzel's lines, though, this may be the next shoe to drop.

Yeah, for the first group of them... sure... but the rest went with the crowd. Nod nod, wink wink.

And, well, lick of sense... Miami Football player... do with that what you want.

Let's be clear that I'm ONLY referring to the idea "when will they ever learn"

I despise the idea of "Oh, look, _____ is cheating again" when it involves those who really don't get that someone already did that that they didn't actually witness.

Point is, the lesson is only learned once a cycle, which is 4 or 5 years. To me this has nothing to do with Luther Campbell, that's all I'm saying.

What I'm saying, is they should know better.

This [Mark May] is on ESPN/Yahoo/CBS Sports week-in, week-out, season after season.
Just about every week there's something...

However, I don't see this as bad as SMU, where they were buying players, and paying them practically a salary.
But we'll see - I got a feeling there's more to come...

That being said, [Mark May] like money-for-hits disturbs me on many levels. How could anyone see that as being right? These aren't 5-year-olds that don't know any better.

EDIT: Forgot one thing: If Coaches/Staff were involved, or knew, then all bets are off in my eyes. That is unacceptable, period. No ifs, ands, or buts.

The players called him Lil Luke. I'd say it has something to do with him.

Shapiro: You want to bang that hot chick with big tits?

Random Miami 18 year old Football Player: *drool*

5 year olds are infintely more logical in that situation.

Big Anakin.

I don't know what that means.

My point was that the current players were comparing him to Luther Campbell, so it's not as if it was some abstract. It may have been before your 5 year cycle started, but the players knew about it, and were emulating the 80's and 90's Canes.

Kellon Winslow? I agree with you. Tyrone Moss...read his comments. That is legit. It is a slippery slope and why many of these kids fall prey to the 'game'
