YOu got people re-re-re-re-re-re-re-retweeting the same nonsense, even going back to Sunday night!!

I got $20 says that last night Monday Night Pillowfight got the highest rating in S. Florida, with all these jackwagons waiting for a Gruden slip-up!

If this is true, Gruden will take Jacory Harris to the next level. The dude is a QB genius.

It takes more than a spring and summer camp to fix some of the issues Harris is having as a QB....

Decision making is a learned thing, it's not correctable in that short amount of time.

I agree with all accounts above.

Ya can't rightly help a kid who's a junior, and still making high-school-bad decisions.

I dunno - we'll see... I ain't seen Gruden come out and say anything.

I STILL say it's a risky move - 3-4 yrs MAX and he gets the itch, goes back to Pro ball. Schnelly/Johnson/Erickson/Davis all over again...

OT, ya'll see Troy Smith last fuggin' night? Dude is a baller! He looked pretty durn good last night!

I'm not sure that is possible. I wouldn't call Jacory Harris's biggest issue a coaching issue. It's that he repeatedly and some inexplicably forces the ball into double or triple coverage.
I think Harris's tendency to force some passes into coverage when he should throw it away or accept the sack might be a coachable issue. And honestly, despite the fact that he threw four picks in the OSU/Miami game this year (not all of which were entirely his fault), I came away from the game impressed with some elements of his performance. His fit some nice passes into some pretty tight windows. Or at least I thought so.

He just seems to NOT be progressing.
This year, he had no zip - he looked like a basketball player forced into QB - finessing the ball in softly, instead of THROWING it.

Back on the coaching front, this is MY first-5-interviewees:

1) Mike Leach
2) June Jones
3) Butch Davis
4) Dan Mullen
5) Mike Stoops

Notice Gruden ain't on there - I don't need a coach that needs CONVINCING to come to Miami, and who is ready to bolt back to the NFL at a moment's notice.

There's obviously more... Patterson/Peterson aren't moving...
Mullen - I dunno - only his 2nd year...

To explain...
1) Mike Leach
Is an explanation necessary? Yeah - I didn't think so...

2) June Jones
Seen what he did at Hawaii? Seen what he's done at SMU? I think they stayed with TCU for 3 quarters? Brought SMU out of the depths...

3) Butch Davis - yep - round 2. He BUILT that 2000-2002 team, came in under heavy probation, lead us out of the dark times. Would I give him a 2nd shot? No question.

4) Dan Mullen - I dunno - I'd probably move Mike Stoops above him, but I dunno. In the interest of full disclosure, I don't know much about him, same with Mike Stoops.

Just my opinion.

Who ya'll think would be a good fit?

I'd like to hear some opinions from Buckeye Nation - others are welcome also, obviously! Always cool to hear opinions from knowledgeable football fans!

I can't make a case for Gruden wanting this job. It's not as attractive as it once was and Gruden would have to actually go recruiting. He won't want to do the work. Wrong guy for the job.
What about the offensive co-ordinator, Whipple?
