Metallica - Death is Not the End (new song, Live) + The Other New Song

update
Possible Release Date For Next Metallica Album

Amazon.com is currently listing an October 28, 2008 release date for the new Metallica album.

It should be noted, however, that this information has not yet been corroborated by the band or Warner Bros. Metallica has set up a web site at MissionMetallica.com that says it will offer fans a chance to "experience the new album before it's done."

Drummer Lars Ulrich said the band intends to explore "everything" in terms of selling its music once its current recording contract expires. But although the group's upcoming ninth studio album is its last with Warner Bros., Ulrich said they would be hesitant to follow in the footsteps of U2 and Madonna and sign a comprehensive "360 deal" with Live Nation.

Not a fan of their newer music (post black album) but I'll still check it out. Once upon a time, they were my favorite band. If they toured to c-bus again, I would definitely check them out. They put on a great show

I'm old school Metallica fan and I admit there music has changed alot since the Black album, but remember these dudes are Millionaires.
Life is theirs, they live it there own way.
Despite what fans think Metallica is God of metal.

Love pre-black album Metallica. The best thing they have released in years was the documentary "Some Kind of Monster". The album (St. Anger) was brutal, but the making of it was really interesting IMO.

The last album I really enjoyed was the the live album S&M they did with San Francisco Symphony. Pre-Black album Metallica rocks, I don't blame them for changing things up. I just never cared for most of their newer stuff.

Hmm, I wonder who else has new shit coming out?
