Hence why I acknowlege Christ's birth in October during the Jewish festival of Sukkot, which is much more likely the time of Christ's birth.

I still celebrate the rituals of Christmas with my family and respect that they are acknowledging the Incarnation; whether it is the correct date is really irrelevant as I am more concerned with matters of the heart than of the mind in this instance (note, no one I know, except for some children, actually thinks Christ was born on December 25).

I read this and though factually true I thought buckeyegrad was going to get all deep on us and kill this fine thread....lol J/K

I was just jagging you because I love reading and learning about the various religions and their histories as well.

Maybe it should just be labled happy time off work :-)
