Maurice and the Combine (MERGED)

Compliments of Turd Ferguson on the BN Board

Fan contests & events

Run the 40 Yard Dash at The Continent
Mo_5.JPG

4.8 seconds. That's all it takes to beat Maurice Clarett in the 40 yard dash. Do you think you can do it? That will be the mark to beat on Wednesday March 9th at The Columbus Fieldhouse Athletic Center.

If you can beat his time we will garner you with a t-shirt compliments of The Fan that will let people know, you are faster then the former number 13. If you can't run faster then 4.8 seconds you will still be given a t-shirt for your effort letting everyone know that Maurice Clarett is still faster than someone out there!

Come on out to The Columbus Fieldhouse Athletic Center between 5 and 7 pm next week, March 9th and join us for your chance to prove yourself and to pick up some great prizes for the fastest competitor. Listen to Spielman on Sports and the Big Show all week long for more details.

Also, you can click here to find out more information and driving directions to The Columbus Fieldhouse Athletic Center.

I'm curious if Mike and Mike have had any comments since they are ESPN sports guys.
They had Mel Kiper on this morning and they all took turns ripping MoC. Kiper equated things to being inschool and getting grades. Basically, he said that if the combine is the final exam, MoC had an 'F' going into the final and needed an 'A' to have a final grade of 'C', hence be draftable. He gave MoC a grade of 'F' on his final therefore a final grade of 'F' and may not be drafted. He then said that his pro day workout could pull his final grade up to a 'D' if and only if he gets an 'A'. He, like everyone that has a brain (which excludes MoC's personal apologist Friend) said that the worst thing he did in Indy was to quit.

Also, on Mike and Mike they had a song parody of the old Ramones tune. It was funny; I don't remember the lyrics (if I have time I'll see if I can find them on the net), but I do remember the refrain: "Hey Mo! Your slow! Hey Mo! Your slow!"

check out this clarett quote

"Q: What was the biggest thing you learned about yourself?

"Probably humility. Being humble. I don't want to say I was humble in the past all the time. I might have said some things to the media I shouldn't have said and things like that. (My lawyer, David Kenner, in Orange County, Calif.) taught me to be humble. It's a humbling thing being humble.''

"It's a humbling thing being humble."...wow that's deep...

MoC to Work Out on April 1st!

Seriously, MoC is going to work out on April Fool's Day. He is going to work out in Youngstown (I think at Mili's old house) on that day because Charlie Frye is having his pro day at Akron on the 1st. MoC's lawyers are then going to bus the scouts to Youngstown.

Who thinks the media will outnumber the scouts? ME

Okay, let's get some good jokes going here because of his workout day.
