Masoli and other Ducks' legal issues

LeGarrette Blount caps night practice by punching Titan teammate - NFL - SI.com

"That was my past. It just came up again." Blount said.

Fisher downplayed the punch. "His past is his past."

I dunno, but when you're doing something now, doesn't that make it your present? And when there is a pattern that recurs from your past to your present, doesn't that tend to predict your future?

I'm sure it's nothing. That Anger Management course obviously succeeded. This isn't a shadow of things to come.
Nothing to see here. Move along. Just be careful you don't annoy LaGarrette Blount as you're leaving.

Dunno man, does not look that bad to me. If my helmet was ripped off twice by a db during a scrimmage, I'd be [censored]ed too. I've thrown a punch in practice. Not cold cocked a guy like that incident - that was low class - but in practice, all kinds of stuff would go on sometimes. That's just football.

Yeah that's just Blount defending himself I don't have any problem with that.

The Titans have had issues in their practices before.

Yeah, none of us (tOSU included) have athletes that fail to ace the wunderlic, and all of them are enrolled for academic opportunity and not for NFL careers.

Just responding to Muck's gratuitous jab at all SEC schools. It's my job.

Carry on.

One would think a Florida education was a rare exception in a conference full of degrees like pig sooey and bammer... but we stand corrected, there is no distinction in the land of group cheers.

What a glorious day this is in dixie. Now the coattails they ride are also attached to graduation robes at commendable institutions.

Who needs that grad degree transfer option? They already have the prestige of degrees earned by other school enrollees.

Well, that is, unless they need a bogus way to scramble to a new school without being accountable for the 1 year layoff penalty.

Being kicked off your current team doesn't jive with "academically motivated".

I'd like the see the NCAA not grant that waiver. If he's serious about a graduate degree, he'll be somewhere for a year and a half and he can play after sitting out a year.

I was hopeful on August 1st - I'm still hopeful.
