Maybe the better question---particularly for skill players like Diggs---is what school will maximize a player's NFL draft potential. With Coach Meyer at OSU, we clearly best MD. But, I do not think that answer would have been as clear under another coach. Take Stoneburner for instance. As far as maximizing his NFL draft potential, he probably should have went to Florida (who wanted him badly under Coach Meyer). If, in 2012 Meyer was still at UF and Tressel at OSU, we could be talking about a choice that would have cost Stoneburner a few rounds in the draft.

There were guys who had faster listed 40 times than Ted Ginn had, yet I've never see any college football player with a higher top-end gear on the football field than Ted Ginn.

It's amazing what a college strength program can do.

My take on the big school vs small school issue- While it is true that the NFL will find you almost anywhere you go. If you want to compete for the accolades and awards that CFB has to offer, you must go to a power conference and preferably to a power school in a power conference.

A second rate school in a second rate conference just doesn't get it done.

It is an incredible golden opportunity for tOSU and Diggs. The stars are aligned, there is full year of growth ahead for everyone in this class, in the mean time there will be an outstanding season for the entire team. Tell me again, when is the first game scheduled in the fall?
