Maryland at tOSU, Oct 9th, Noon ET on FOX

That's a bit much imo. They are a capable offense. I'd set the bar ~25 personally.
Meh. I still hold out for the Silver Bullets of old.

If this was GA we are taking about then we would expect 17 or less and I see no reason that shouldn’t be our standard as well. Iowa held them to 14 so I’m willing to live with an extra FG.

In 2005 Urban Meyer's offense was still considered rather gimmicky. Hell, Texas was somewhat thought of this way.

Fast forward to seemingly every team playing no huddle with tempo, not under center, RPO's the creative screen games and the nature of officials to favor offense players... 20 points just isn't a realistic standard. In that 2005 season only two teams were at or broke the 50ppg offensive measurement - Texas and USC.

Right now there are 8 teams sitting at 41 and could hit or hover around 50 by seasons end.
27-28 is much more likely as lines have shifted about a full touchdown since then.

The times they are a changin'.

What’s happening in Mexico? Don’t have a good answer for you but have fun/be safe man. Enjoy the game.

:drunks:

25th anniversary with Mrs. Sparcbox. We’re at a really small resort. Not to turn this into a high-end happy hour discussion, but it’s pretty high touch… we have a butler. He got them to open up the sports bar for us… so just the Mrs and me alone in the bar. Yes, alcohol is all unlocked and it _is_ pre-paid so we can help ourselves.
