Our Cinemark added more screenings tonight to meet demand. Went over at 11:00 to get tickets from the outdoor kiosk (I refuse to pay those stupid app surcharges), and there was a line of new walk up buyers.

Block of tickets for 6:30 tonight in hand.

Walked out of theater and all 10 screens were running Endgame at half hour intervals. Every other movie was taken off the board.

There were two queue lines full, one for 10:00 and another for 10:30.

Never seen a scene quite like this. This is going to do damn near a billion worldwide in four days.

That was one hell of an amazing ending to an absolutely amazing 11 years of movies that will probably never be achieved again.

I think it was projected to be around 900mil opening weekend.

I still don't think it'll reach Avatar, but it'll beat Titanic

Agreed, all the movies from now on just won't feel the same

I believe Fiege has said he doesn't want to do phases anymore that leads to an Avenger movie.

Friend of mine caught a midnight showing. Said it was twice as busy as when he saw Dark Knight summer 2008... I was there as well and it was a madhouse.
