Game Thread Marshall vs tOSU, Thursday Sep 2, 7:30 pm ET, BTN

Gameday.

Got my Ohio State coaches polo on, my car flag awaving off the back window, and my game gear ready to go in my Ohio State overnight bag for later.

Heading out of here about 3:00 to change into my gameday gear, meet a couple of friends for $1 beers at a local watering hole to start the evening, then over to a friend's place for more beer, pizza, and the Buckeye game.

I am not going to get anything done at work today.

:osu:GO BUCKS!!!!!:osu:

Not that anyone cares, but it's been a rough week in my house. Wife got slammed in the head by a tennis racquet on Monday night, slight concussion. Tuesday night, she's in a car accident. No real injuries, but cars whalloped and major damage, then the family pet is mortally wounded yesterday and I had to put her to sleep in between meetings at work.

I know it's kinda cheesy, but Buckeye football, for me, cannot come soon enough. It gives an outlet to focus on something for pure joy. Fortunately for me, most years aren't accompanied by the mess that preceeded this year, but ultimately the desire for Buckeye football to start always offers relief from anything else going on. I'm not alone in that feeling and truthfully, my life is far more fortunate that 99.9% of the population so I've got nothing to complain about.

Like the first day of spring practice, and then the day they report to camp, today is a glorious day. Many of us have been really ticked off about conference/divisions, etc, but today there is Buckeye football and reason to celebrate our collective brotherhood. I know I'll be enjoying every minute of it.

Go Buckeyes!

Between ordering my TSO tickets this morning (fan club presale goodness!) and Buckeye football kicking off tonight, I have so much energy/adrenaline right now! I have an English Comp. paper I should be working on or math to do...screw that, its game day! TBDBITL will be blasting from my apartment until I head to B-Dubs to watch the game, and hopefully a Marshall or tSUN fan hears the sounds of pure bliss.

Script Ohio, the ramp entrance, the Hive...It. Is. Time! Let's go Bucks! :osu: :oh:

I believe a wise man (Tom Petty) once said, "The waiting is the hardest part."

Oh well, at least I've got BP to get me through the workday.
