I don't know how Texas can claim the outright State of Texas champs in 2003. TCU had a pretty good team, and lost fewer games...:)

to recapitulate:

According to USCguru, on this very board, Mark Sanchez deal was done, as of Tuesday, July 13th. That was exactly two days ago, after his last interview with Norm Chow.

Then rdsbuck pays a visit to the board and says that MS possible move to Columbus is now doubtful, after the "clamp down" by the family.

Also, there is only one guy on the WeAreSc board who claims UT is leading for Sanchez.

So, where are USCguru and rdsbuck now to clarify some of these questions for us?

Yeah well, USCguru also said that Bemoll's call from the shoe had nothing to do with Sanchez's recruitment. If you listen to Sanchez's interview on Bucknuts you'll know that Bemoll's call was indead about his recruitment. So I wouldn't trust USCguru's info all that much.

rdsbuck is the poster who mentioned on bucknuts that tOSU would receive a commitment from a player whose name started with an S within the next 24-48 hours. That was two days ago. On the Texas board, they have a brief interview with Mark Sanchez where he indicates, that two nights ago the family got together and spoke for 2-3 hours about this matter. He says that his announcement will be made this week and that the coaches will be infromed accordingly, then the "decision will spread like wild-fire".

"reading comprehension"--ever heard of it?? my post said that the call from KB had NOTHING to do with Mark's ultimate decision--i DID NOT say that the call had nothing to do with recruiting--also it was rds that said someone would commit or whatever by last night

there is indeed an apparent hang-up in Mark's decision--those darn 18 year olds-- but i stick by my initial call. wait and see
