Mark Sanchez (Philadelphia Eagles)

Don't want to sound mercenary, but this is the best of both worlds from an OSU perspective. Kid is OK but his preparation is limited. Not what you want for your O with so many new players and only one game before OSU.

Ouch. I can relate, just having dislocated my kneecap, with an impaction fracture, on June 3 (this is the second time on this knee). I'm going through PT now and still cannot run yet. Apparently, once you have that injury, you're prone to it slipping out of place in the future. :( Popping your own knee back into place is one of the grossest things I've ever had to do! Damn, I feel for him.

I JUST logged on and saw this!

Holy Crap!

They do have another highly skilled QB, and neither had much experience. It may not be a big deal, or maybe Mustain is a gamer and USC will be better off.

Either way though, this was a much more significant thread topic than I expected to see when I logged on.
Mustaine has a year of SEC experience! We're doooooooooooomed!!!!!!!!!!

The USC insider just posted on their free boards. Dislocated knee cap. Will start rehab Monday.

Horrible timing. New line, new QB, new WR's. One week, two weeks whatever, any time waisted is going to hurt them.

One dislocation can sometimes lead to another. I should know I dislocated my elbow 12 times

I think Mark's quotes from tonight's press conference demonstrate that the missed practice time won't be a big deal:

On what missing a week or more in fall camp may mean for the season

Sanchez: If I can't practice, I can't practice. It is as simple as that. It ain't about that at all. It's easy to sum it up if you're just talking about practice. We're sitting here, and I'm supposed to be the franchise player, and we're talking about practice. I mean listen, we're sitting here talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we're talking about practice. Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game last it's my last but we're talking about practice man. How silly is that?

On whether his absence will negatively affect the development of other offensive players

Sanchez: How in the hell can I make my teammates better by practicing?
