Di, if Sanchez would commit to USC with Leinart coming back for his senior year that would give him a RS season to learn the O and an equal chance to grab the starting job when he graduates instead of trying to win the job as a true frosh or trying to replace a returning starter as a RS Frosh...just a thought

however...if linefart "stays"..yeah right...for his senior season....sanchez gets a year to play catch up.....

bkb I agree it will be a clustered situation. The interesting point brought up on WEARESC is that Hinds was recruited as an ATH...would he accept a position change or transfer?

Don't know much about Hines, to be honest. I do know that PC has some sort of magical spells which he carries around in a fanny pack, so I think Hines can be pushed in to a change of Pos. Ask PC's Number One WR/Safety about that.. lol

Hinds is a special athlete...6'4 215 4.47/40 10.47/100 when recruited. With that speed and size he could play a number of posiitons

Not sure Di...he did have ACL surgery his senior season. He was recruited as an ATH although he was only a QB in HS

I was surprised to see how sure Bemoll seemed about Sanchez no longer even thinking about USC in his interview today. In general I remain pretty pessimistic in recruiting, but I really think we get Sanchez, if in fact he has shut everybody out of his recruiting as of this past Tuesday. No chance for Petey to sneak in for a last minute visit.

I really can't see Sanchez going to Texas. If he values coaching stability greatly, how can he possibly look at Texas objectively and be sure that Mack and his staff will be there for more than one year? How many years will Texas tolerate finishing 2nd in the Big 12 South? On top of that, Mack messed up the last two QB controversies they've had and didn't have that great of an offense considering Young, Williams, and Benson were all starting.

grad, I tend to think the Bemoll verbal and RS a OSU lean would damper the potential meltdown to lower than FD. After all, he is a California kid.

DiHard, your theory is entirely plausible, but risky. Unless Booty is in on it, he has to at least consider transferring.
