I think it has something to do with Cooper absolutely destroying Pitt in the 90's - racking up 70 points one time and 50 something the next. Pitt vowed to never schedule OSU again after those two beatdowns.

That is part of it, but the main reason is just that he is a first class ass clown.

I think it'd be a shorter thread if you post things he said that AREN'T stupid.

He's ALWAYS with the Captain Obvious stuff...say, a blown coverage w/ a receiver wide open in the middle, 10yds of space all around him...

Some people just need to be locked out of the booth.... Mays is a given, but take Jesse Palmer, for instance.
And, Canes Gods forgive me, but PLEASE don't ever let Gino Torretta call another game! Please! My ears will bleed!

Actually taped College Final so I could see what Lou and May said.....pleasantly surprised, Holtz was pro OSU, and even Mark (badmouth) May had nice things to say about OSU, though mostly Pryor. Not sure who said it, but he's had a hard-on against OSU (and most of the B10) probably because he wasn't recruited by us, and 'settled' at Pitt. Maybe because he was 'handled' by OSU during his years there, dunno.

He made good in the pros, but methinks his grudges fester deep. Or he could be the counter-point to the 'Coach' (Holtz), and contradict what he says. Anyway, for us to generate this much ink shows that we do in fact watch, what is what ESPiN wants anyway. Point to them.

PS, Dryden, if May thinks he needs $1,000 worth of security if he was to go into the 'Shoe, then he's crazy, more like $ 1 mill and two armored cars, and a bullet-proof seating arrangement.

FWIW (nothing), when they showed their Top 5s, it was May who had OSU at #2, while Holtthththtppbbbthtthh had the Buckeyes at #4.

I have to wonder if they even bother doing their own rankings, or if they're simply assigned a list to talk about.

Throw in Pam Ward for the "quick updates" during that game and it will be on mute in 98% of the viewing area.

At that point, I'm leaning towards XM or AM radio...

Now...if you toss Erin in there to do her Sideline Skirtsho- I mean Sideline Reporting, and hell I might just watch AND unmute the sound! Gotta love EassPN.

Not talking about who you would hit, I am talking Xs and Os. Don't need sound to ..............um.....................well..................yeah. :biggrin:
