If I'm not mistaken, FAMU has a similar deal to MAC Schools and Ohio State. They rotate between the bigger programs inside the state and play one almost every year.

Not sure they had much of a choice in this scheduled game.

It's all about ratings. OSU's fanbase, arguably the biggest fanbase, always is a popular pot to stir to get a reaction. That's why you'll see Cowherd dog them, that's why you see Mark May say the stupid things he says. It's all for reaction. It's the same reason Lou Holtzsh says what he says about Notre Dame. He's actually a really smart man. But when you make bold statements about a popular fanbase, you'll get reactions and people will tune in, which is all they care about.

He's actually gotten bad at hiding it, to the point he looks blatantly like he's trying to be a cheap asshole like a really, really bad pro wrestling villain. See Trev Alberts, say what you will, but that wasn't really acting much...he really was told to be that much of a douchefarm I'm sure, but he did it in such a way that pissed people off because it seemed genuine (which, given what an arrogant fuckpelican he is, probably isn't far from the truth). But May has just lost it. He is "enhancement talent" now.

Example: I was watching some show over the weekend, and he said "Why are Terrelle Pryor's receivers always wide open? I want to see him have to throw the ball when someone is actually covering somebody". Now this is just really trying waaaaay too hard. I mean, ripping into a guy for hitting open receivers because they are open? It just smacks of really bad acting, nothing more.
