Marcus Lattimore (official thread)

Marcus Lattimore has a broken femur and knee cap plus all four knee ligaments are torn... which is consistent with the look that the only thing holding his leg together was skin.. all the best son.. this is as bad as it gets

That's what's going around on Twitter, but the only source I see is some sub-Finebaum radio guy in Alabama.

It's plausible, but still unconfirmed as far as I can tell. I hope there's better news than that, but it doesn't look good.

It's on sbnation.com.

They're citing that radio guy as the source.

This is @BrianVanOchten:

Please excuse me if I don't trust the reporting of a guy who thinks that hairpiece is a good idea.

Also, remember how many different injuries were reported for Braxton Miller on Twitter last week?

Hate, hate hate this. Lattimore is a classy young man. He doesnt deserve this.

Pains me to see good football players fulfill their talent in productive ways get hurt and than see fools like Tyrann Mathieu waste it away.

Incredible injury. Obviously incredible in a terrible way. Did he tear any blood vessels? It seems that's when there's the highest likelihood of requiring an amputation. Hate to even bring that up, but this is an amazing amount of damage and at this point, I'm just hoping he can keep the leg.
