I like Madden better. The game play is much more difficult. I rarely go 16-0 and make it all the way through the playoffs in Madden on All-Pro, but I went undefeated with Yale on All-American in NCAA. Building up a d1AA school like that is the only way that you can get a reasonable challenge from the AI. The AI doesn't get any smarter when you go up to Heisman either, the players are just ungodly fast, with 72" verticals. There are still a ton of ways to dominate Heisman too.
I really like the recruiting in NCAA, especially with the in season stuff this year. It's not enough, for me, to overcome the sub par game play though. I also like Franchise mode on Madden, I just wish that I could use create a play book in franchise mode, and wish creating a stadium was a little more creative.
My favorite thing about Madden is being able to move a team, like the Ravens, to Butte Montana, giving them pink and yellow uniforms, calling them the pirates, and switching back to owning the Browns. That way I get to beat those pink and yellow butte pirates twice a year.
Plus I can watch the real Buckeyes compete for a National Title every few years, but the only chance I have of seeing the Browns win a Super Bowl is by doing it myself.
