2023 MA OL Samson Okunlola (Miami Signee)

Pnuts, as a longtime C'bus resident, will let you know that Bob Evans pancakes are fluffier than IHOP's ever were. Everytime visit daughter, go to Bob Evans on Olentangy Blvd or on Bethel Road for my fix.
Thanks so much for the advice
And I’m sure an NIL deal with Bob Evans has to be on the table. Heck I’ve seen other teams message boards even mention it

I really hope we can get him on campus. I am a bit confused how he was not more interested in OSU with how the O Line has performed. Every interview I have seen he has been fairly passive on coming back. Maybe reading too much into a 18 year olds reaction to a once in a life time opportunity.

He’s looking mainly at a big up front NIL deal. It’s a not so quiet secret. He doesn’t real care how our OL has played, he’s looking for a big payday

He is one of the rare OL that could compete and even start as a Freshman.
Idk,I’ve heard that said before about former 5star OL. It’s so dang hard to predict that position. OT are usually bigger and stronger than everyone they play in HS. I would love to see a practice at OSU if Okunla came to OSU. Where he had to go against JT, and then Sawyer in reps, and then when he wants a breather LJsr trots our Kenyatta Jackson and Caden Curry. And then when he wants a breather he goes up against Josh Mickens and Damon Wilson… Not sure many true frosh can handle those guys in a practice

So, Miami who may not even make a bowl game this year is still shelling out upfront NIL money? I get the fact this is the first year under Mario Cristobal. The U's Star QB took a huge step back, he was projected by some to be a 1st rounder in the NFL draft. So, I am not sold on the coaching abilities. I am not booster, nor do I have funds to just throughout to recruits. I just struggle to see why you would continue to do this. A&M money doesn't seem to put results on the field. I know as an 18-year-old I would struggle to see the big picture without decent support around me. Trying not to look at this as an OSU fan, seems like better options for the guy.
