How hard will it be to get good tickets to this game, since classes havn't started yet.

Also I know its still a long ways off, but can someone give me an aprox. date/month of when i should expect them to go on sale (So i don't waste my paychecks)

Kinda sucks for me, I am getting married on that day, and I was planning on a 12 noon start, since we are planning a late afternoon wedding...
can i have your tickets if you stumble across some?

And Vince Young's promising heisman campaign will get dismantled just like all of the Klingsbury's, Johnson's, Dorsey's and McGahee's were.
I kind of like any quarterback that can spank and embaress scUM like that. I wish him better than a helmit to the knee. I think the Heisman votes were in before the Fiesta Bowl so we can't claim Dorsey or McGahee. For that matter, congradulations to McGahee for the recovery and making a good show in the NFL.

I was never wishing ill to mcgahee, hence why he was grouped with the other players that we didn't injure badly (Dorsey got pretty messed up tho from what I've heard). I was glad to see him come back so successfully from his injury.

You're right, the heisman votes do go in before the bowl game. I more meant how our defense handled them, but I stand corrected due to the way I phrased the question.

We're cool smith. I was just admitting my mistake.

Dorsey got pretty messed up? How? During the Fiesta Bowl?
Wait... which hit are you talking about?
The hit we were referring to was the one on McGahee, but the biggest one on Dorsey was by Wilhelm when he drove him backwards and into the ground.

From CNNSI:
The Buckeyes got him three more times and knocked him down on 10 other occasions. (Dorsey, who left the field for one play during the final overtime after a hard hit from Wilhelm, vomited on the Hurricanes' bus after the game and was hospitalized for several hours with dehydration and a possible concussion.)
I also heard he had been spitting up blood while in the hospital.

Dude, Dorsey is one QB I've got a lot of respect for. He handled himself with a lot of class after the fiesta bowl despite the way most Miami people acted regarding the interference call.

We should be proud of our defense for hitting so hard the kid took days/weeks to recover. But don't hate on the guy for being sick afterwards.

I bet Krenzel had a few things to deal with physically after the fiesta bowl. He just didn't notice them as much because he had so many endorphines mixing with the adrenaline.

....

Now to end the thread hijacking...

Mack Brown is 1-10 vs. the top10. His only true road games that compare to this one are against OU, and he hasn't won that game since 98.

Did Fred Rouse pick a school? Do they have any good receivers?

I do feel really good about the UT game. Home, night, early in the season, big game. History is on our side. Night would be extra cool. The only problem is that I watch OSU games at the local sports bars and they get smokey. The question is if the game will be broadcast TV. Somehow I think a night game will be on ESPN.

It's 230 and some odd days away. Change the time to noon. Any woman worth marrying wouldn't make you miss the Buckeyes to get married.

Or better yet, change the date. There are lots and lots of Saturdays in between now and September. But I know how brides just love the romance of a September wedding. It's every girl's dream to be wed at that beautiful time of year, when the leaves are still green but they are really old looking, when the grass is brown, when the air is heated like an oven and thick with a summer's worth of pollen, dust, and humidity. Mmmmm....I can smell romance just thinking about it! :biggrin2:

(By the way, congratulations on getting married. You just need to do something about the date. And, you need to think nine months ahead before you get her pregnant).
