Yeah I completely forgot about the no clock JUCO ruling.

That's such a big deal.

That ruling is bigger than many fans realize. To have a player play 2yrs in the JUCO then transfer to a P4 as a 20yo frosh is WILD! He will still have 5yrs to play 4, the same as any true frosh from HS but 2 years older and stronger(and faster in some cases).

When people complain about when and who OSU is getting in the Portal, just remember that only 1 of these teams has a chance to win the CFP, and none came close to even winning their conference:

Yep, getting a group of kids who are still very talented that actually mesh and play well with each other is a more winning strategy than just scooping up every bag chaser by being the highest bidder.

Problem is, many fan bases just see money being spent and expect the highest bidder to miraculously have all of the best players. No, you just have the most expensive players, with either savvy agents and/or greedy family members
