Yeah one depth piece would be great.Thank goodness… with 51, 75, 67 and 77 back next year we will have some options. Hopefully we can land just 1 more OL with the kid from NW. that’d give us a lot of options considering we’ll have Padilla and Ian Moore back too. Legit can get a best 5 from 10 or so kids
Yeah, sad that we won't get to see him throw for the S&G. Hope he lights it up!Good luck, Air.
The rumored NIL request was $750k, so scUM went above that. Crazy for a kid who hasn’t been much of a factor in 2yrs at Bama. But hey, spend that Ellison money
Alford will turn him into a super star. Magical transformation.Haynes is not worth the money. Has had two years to show his worth and what has he done?
Ohio State needs to make a huge business deal with a JUCO to send players there. Won't count against eligibility years and get to mature a bit. I'm thinking similar to that school Eddie George went to but larger scalethings I could see:
-big schools pay to stash and call up projects at smaller schools
-hs kids start taking “gap” years to develop more before starting their eligibility clock (they already do but take this way further)
-only the elite of the elite go straight from HS to major college sports.
-the rest find homes at smaller schools and lower levels, ironically enough raising the quality of that product.
-or less and less guys go on to play college sports.
Some or all of that. Likely 9 or 10 things I’m not even thinking of.
It’s a real issue though. No doubt.
