CFB has always been another pro league! Its just now the players are getting paid above the table, instead of dropping off a bag of money and a new tractor on Ricky Roe's family farm...
Kids have been transferring more and more for years. Most of the transfers on 11W article were before NIL and the portal. OSU has had a number of kids we got excited about on NSD, and only to transfer and not get close to even being NFL eligible(i.e. Jaamal Berry, Verlon Reed, Dorian Bell, Jeremy Cash, Mike Mitchell, Willie Mobley, Lamar Thomas, I can keep going but you get the point).

OSU(and the few other elite programs) adjusts, replaces, moves on and see success.

Former Alabama tight end Jahleel Billingsley announced on Sunday that he's heading to Texas.

The move will reunite him with Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian, who was Alabama's offensive coordinator in 2020 when Billingsley emerged as a playmaker with three touchdowns as a sophomore.
