uhm… how many guys we had jump in the portal? i think we’re at 4 since the scUM game…

i think its now just the nature of the beast.. guys that are lights out are going well this small school is nice but I can go get NIL money at a bigger school now that i’m not some 3*

Believe it or not, we’re actually below the average in the B1G for the full season and since the end of the regular season. Imagine how everyone else must be coping. I think that Tom Orr and Gerd were talking about that in one of their podcasts this week. TBH, I don’t really consider QE a real transfer. While I think we all like to think that he was really here, I think that he likely was here on a speed-dating basis… hardly ready to commit if it didn’t look like things were going to go beyond a kiss on the cheek after the first date.

This is just the start. Wait until NIL heats up.

There is no mechanism in place to assure NIL operates as intended. There is no mechanism to ensure "tampering " is not rampant.

There have always been boosters and hundred dollar handshakes. But now CFB is up for sale completely. Coaches with hundred million dollar contracts? Million dollars for a kid before he takes a snap?

Once a Buckeye always a Buckeye my ass.

Nothing but business now - at least for the big dogs.

Look at the money and how unequal it is being distributed among players. Litigation can't be far behind. Too many smart lawyers to let that continue.

I hate it. But I am too old to let it go.

CFB now has its own "hot stove season." It's just gonna get worse. Guys that were "the man" in high school aren't gonna wait 2-3 years for their turn anymore.
