Meh, the Portal is just musical chairs. OSU and SWD will both win in the end, and honestly this isn’t a surprise. Peoples, SWD, Donaldson, Rogers, Jackson and West, you can’t be surprised that SWD left. Next year was set to be Peoples and Donaldson show and let the other guys get the garbage time

A local 3 star gets a chance to go to Ohio State - probably his dream school. That's why.

He'd been recruited over. At some point kids do want to play.

Folks assumed Ty Howard was the catalyst for Melton's departure (who will be missed, but I am glad he'll get a shot to start). This would be rather interesting, as OSU was right in the mix for Damon, much like Downs, out of HS

I think Ty Howard is nothing more than a depth piece. I could be wrong though and not to be negative about the kid (the coaches obviously see something or they wouldnt bring him in) but I doubt a transfer from Duquesne is running dudes off.
