Look Who's Transferring Now (The Portal)

Just curious.. not that it's germane
but I wonder what's happened with graduation rates since college free agency started
Do the 'final' schools still offer lifetime, come back and graduate feature?

College football becoming more like employment. The next thing coming is going to be labor rights issues like guaranteed playing time, equal pay for equal responsibilities, etc. The end of college sports is very predictable from where we already are today.
The only good thing about this, imo, is maybe they start teaching business and accounting principles to high school kids instead of gender fucking studies

I hate what CFB has become. Trying to adjust my perspective but I truly wonder if I'll even watch it 5 years from now. I watch very little NFL and this is just becoming a smaller version with seemingly less restrictions thanks to the NCAA.
Gambling is typically the only reason I watch other than OSU.

I watch OSU everything if I can so it shouldn't even count.

One would think the best portal options will not appear till AFTER bowls and playoffs
They should keep it closed until after the holidays and some of these "bowl" games. It's ridiculous how many people are like rats jumping off a ship at every nickel they can find. Just simmer until after a family holiday or bowl game that you get free shit at and a little holiday. Damn

That‘s an average between 12 and 13 for every FBS team.
don't forget that the 2020 Covid season basically added an entire extra recruiting class to the pool of players without adding an extra 25 scholarships to teams for those players

2020 - True Freshman
2021 - Covid Freshman - player redshirts
2022 - Redshirt Freshman
2023 - 4th year Sophomore
2024 - 5th year Junior
2025 - 6th year senior

so this year's "juniors" is a class twice as large as any other year.
but not double the roster spots for them.
so guys are scrambling to find places to play.
