London Olympics: "We're pretty much ready..."

The Americans and Jamacians win 6 of the 7 heats, I'm completely shocked. Or not.

Actually, the biggest shock of the morning sessions is Leshawn Meritt not finishing his 400m heat... I didn't see it so I don't know what happened to him. He was the gold medal favorite. Of note in the 400m, South African Oscar "Blade Runner" Pistorius finished 2nd in his heat to qualify for the semis.
