A lot of comments about Todd's not so good throws, but the TD To Small was a perfect throw. I don't think it could've been better. I expect Todd to get the ball to the outside shoulder like that more in upcoming games.

Absolutely agree. There was only one person on the field who could have caught that pass. Perfect throw.

I have to say I like Troy's deep ball better than Boeckmans. That's not to say that I think Todd is bad. But, Troy would hit guys deep and in stride. I've seen too many underthrows and overthrows out of Todd to say he's the best. That said, he has the tools and the time to make good on your assertion, CBF40.

Keep in mind that Troy had Teddy at times 5 yards or more behind the defender...

Just outside the hotel I see a gorgeous woman who is clearly a hooker. Cash or no, I am extremely frustrated and need release. I carefully negotiate a price, location and time for our rendezvous. She asks me what I want and - her being so beautiful and all - I say I would like to try a 69.

You guessed it. In Canada a 69 is actually a 66.

Trust me. You don't want to do a 66 with anybody - no matter how good looking.

Bottom line - is Canada a place I would recommend for a vacation?

not sure i understand this one.. why the hell would you EVER want to do a 69 with a hooker? who knows how many loads were in her before you go do your work on her...

Boeckman has hit more 30+ yard passes through six games than Troy did in 13 last season.

Double edged, dont you agree? What I mean is, Troy still had to get the ball to him in stride, which he did. Teddy never had to wait on the ball... least not that I can recall.

he had to wait on it against Illinois and Ntre Ame. two i can think of instantly.

If we're thinking of the same play, I don't recall Teddy waiting on it v. NoD. In stride at the goal line. He hit Holmes too, straight up great throw. I'm certainly not arguing Boekman can't throw the deep ball. To the contrary, I just think Troy did it better. Which, frankly, shouldn't be a tough sell considering Troy was a Senior Heisman winning QB, and Boeckman's in his first year on the job.

B/c they've gone deep a lot more, that's why.

We didn't even try throwing many deep passes last year.

hey, don't believe Jim Tressel who says himself that Todd throws the best deep ball he's seen... think whatever you want. Troy did a lot of things VERY well. but perhaps he didn't throw it deep as much was because it wasn't one of his better attributes.

think about it.

Not entirely true. A lot of "hitting the WR in stride" has to do with the WR adjusting his timing/route/speed slightly so as to make that happen. Good WRs make a quarterback look better in this way.

I'm not disagreeing with you, I said earlier Boeckman had the best arm for deep balls that Tressel has had but it's the trajactory of the ball that gets him in trouble more than it did Smith.

The Holmes throw was perfect, but Ginn did have to slow down signifcantly to catch the ball...fortunately he was already 7-8 yards ahead of the DB.
