yep. just a routine bar fight. the guy is a pussy for being defenseless on the ground while at least one person kicks him in what appears to be the head.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwky5YESjrg

i have never once said a kick to the head did not happen while someone was on the ground.
What i did say was that the Marine did not look like he was gang raped.
For all we know, the guy on the ground getting kicked, and the Marine are two completely different people (police have confirmed 4 victims).

and this video is too damn blurry to see who did what.

looks like the guy wearing all black did the kicking.

hard to tell for sure, but it looks like he kicked with his left foot.
JJ throws righty (doesn't mean he don't kick lefty).

reportedly, the police took 44 bags from JJ's apartment in the search as evidence.

I have no knowledge of typical searches, but 44 bags sounds like a lot of shit. Not sure what he could have in his apartment related to a fight that would take up 44 bags.

Gator, any insight into typical search warrants like this?

I just spent my summer as an intern with the Financial Crimes Unit of a large police department, so I'll try and give a little bit of perspective.

Everything seized has to recorded, and categorized into its own bag. I'm not familiar with the specifics on this case, but its certainly possible that 44 bags were necessary. The search warrant likely allows them to search any vehicles that JJ may own, and they may have found something in them as well.

Again... I'm not particularly familiar with JJ's case, but 44 bags isn't really out of the ordinary from my perspective. We seized a woman's purse on one of our search warrants, and all of the items inside the purse had to have their own bag and be recorded seperately, and this lady had more things in her purse than you can imagine, from her purse alone the total came out to be 22 bags worth.

so each shoe would get a different bag, each sock, etc.?

ok then 44 doesn't sound outrageous then.

I have no knowledge of typical searches, but 44 bags sounds like a lot of [Mark May]. Not sure what he could have in his apartment related to a fight that would take up 44 bags.

No idea. I'm just wondering why Johnny Cash faked his death.

we need to find out who is the chick in white in the video.
or at least how tall is she in the heel she's wearing.

the guy doing the kicking doesn't look much taller than her.
of the 4 players mentioned:
Josh Johns is white, so it ain't him
Davenport is 320 pounds. the guy in video doesn't look that big.

JJ is 6' 5"
Landry is 6' 0"

sounded like somebody was yelling "JEFF" over and over during the kicking part. Maybe a nickname for Jefferson? Can't really make much out from the vid though. Pretty inconclusive. Hard to believe in this day and age that's the only video that was taken.

In an unrelated story:

Apparently somone pulled a gun on Mettenberger and Sam Montogomery back in june.

DA's office have filed charges against 2 guys.
I'll post a link when I can get to a computer instead of my phone.

With all the distractions, our season may be done before it even starts.

Baton Rouge - Baton Rouge Police investigators confiscated 49-50 pairs of tennis shoes from LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson's apartment Wednesday in a search for evidence pertaining to a fight involving Jefferson and three other players, a source close to the investigation said.
49-50 pair of tennis shoes??!!???!! No wonder Jefferson attacked the guy. He needed cash to fund his shoe habit...
