Les needs to go ahead and sit them and avoid the uncertainty of the starter being yanked the day before the game. Say they broke curfew and were involved in a criminal situation taking focus from the team goals, so the four have to sit until the DA figures it out. Let the back up get the first team reps, and the start versus Oregon. If there is some sudden good news making JJ eligible, they can always stick JJ in the game if things are going bad.

Les needs to stop this circus now and call a starting QB.

Les being Les probably won't say publicly if he's benching him (unless an arrest or something of that nature happens).

At his presser today, he did say that they are preparing in case something happens.
Jarett Lee took half the reps with the 1st team today.


Someone on our board posted the link to JJs facebook page.
Lots of hate being posted. Some threats of violence.

Dude wasn't the most popular guy around before this.
Safe to say even less so now.

If he hadn't told his dad he was sleeping and not involved in a fight (or if his dad had not posted that conversation), some of that could have been avoided. But Tiger Nation waiting to throw him under the bus at the first opportunity. He just advanced that date.

before this incident, he could have cured cancer and half the fanbase would still hate the guy (the other half will always hate Lee no matter what he does)

now, don't think there is any way he converts the haters.

I figured they would at least wait until his 1st pass attempt that wasn't completed for a 1,000,000 yd TD before they revolted against him again.

Mett is listed as #3 on the depth chart.

he hasn't passed Lee yet, but all reports are that he probably will before the end of the season.

If JJ sits vs Oregon (and beyond?), I'm thinking we would see both of them, but a good bit more of Lee.
