Grew up in SoCal so I am a lifelong Laker fan who had the privilege of being a fan during the Showtime era and the Kobe Shaq era

Myself and tons of people I know have completely tuned out of the Lakers since LeBum has been there. Can’t stand him for a variety of reasons beyond his personal life and how he carries himself. Just basketball. Chasing championships from team to team. Throwing his weight around as a de facto GM. Ugh. He’s the absolute worst.

Literally everyone I know that’s always been a Laker fan has tuned out and now excited to start paying attention again

I’m not sure people realize just how many LeBron haters there are. I have said for a long time that we will see some scathing documentaries once he retires because players have bee afraid to cross him and Rich Paul

Sonny Johnson’s connection to LeBron James and Ohio State​

Sonny Johnson, the high school basketball coach at Garfield Heights High School in Cleveland, grew up with James. Johnson is also the uncle of Meechie Johnson Jr., who played at Ohio State on two separate occasions. The elder Johnson recently hinted that James could be headed back to Cleveland, and his proximity to the James family makes the comment worth paying attention to.

Meechie Johnson has been open about James being like an uncle to him, so the families share a legit connection. You wouldn’t think Sonny Johnson would put this kind of rumor out there and risk upsetting folks around the Cleveland area unless he has a good feeling about LeBron’s plans.

It’s kinda laughable how the media keeps pushing this like a “huge deal” when nobody I know (lots of NBA fans) care at all…..everyone is just kinda embarrassed for the guy bc he clearly has no idea everyone is over the act.

I guess I hope he stays away from Cleveland….i don’t think they need the extra attention, I just don’t think it’s worth it….the championship he brought to Cleveland was pretty amazing but the rest of his career was so mismanaged and awkward. It reminds me of JJ McCarthy at Michigan to be honest……not smart enough to know how ridiculous it all is. The arrogance and ignorance is at levels never before seen….
