Grew up in SoCal so I am a lifelong Laker fan who had the privilege of being a fan during the Showtime era and the Kobe Shaq era
Myself and tons of people I know have completely tuned out of the Lakers since LeBum has been there. Can’t stand him for a variety of reasons beyond his personal life and how he carries himself. Just basketball. Chasing championships from team to team. Throwing his weight around as a de facto GM. Ugh. He’s the absolute worst.
Literally everyone I know that’s always been a Laker fan has tuned out and now excited to start paying attention again
I’m not sure people realize just how many LeBron haters there are. I have said for a long time that we will see some scathing documentaries once he retires because players have bee afraid to cross him and Rich Paul
