Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Lebron could secretly give millions to the program, and that wouldn't mean a damn thing in regards to where his son should/would/could play his college ball.
If you do not think Lebron will have any say on where has #1 boy goes to school is laughable and with regard to financials I am pretty sure that it would be well known if he gave money to Ohio State because it is well known that he has given quite a bit of money to his former high school. Lebron is not shy about telling people where he gives money and I do follow Cleveland sports pretty closely.

IF Boston lands Leonard.. it doesn't matter what LeBron does
He ain't going to the finals in the East nor West

If Boston gets Leonard what are they going to do with 2 SFs, tying up over $51.2M (Heyward ($31,214,295) + Leonard ($20,099,188) this coming season? That's over 50% of the 2018/19 salary cap, (i.e. The NBA’s current salary cap projection for the coming year is $101 million with luxury tax threshold of $123 million). Who would want to pick up Heyward's (who is coming off an injury too) contract at $31.2M (2018/19), $32.7M (2019/2020), and $34.1M (2020/21)?

Just sayin': I think San Antonio is just "floating" Boston out there to try and drive up the Lakers offer.

Most of Boston's players are cheap or on rookie deals. And I wouldn't worry about Kawhi and Hayward playing the same position, the NBA is getting closer and closer to positionless basketball. They're looking at starting Kyrie, Hayward, Kawhi/Brown, Tatum, and Horford next year. That's by far the best team in the East, barring any big moves by Philadelphia. I don't think he'll go to Boston, though. He wouldn't re-sign there.

There's no way the Spurs don't get tatum/brown + in a Leonard deal. They aren't going to give him away.
