Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

I found myself dreaming tonight. I went to the Indians game and immediately realized what would a cooler way be to announce he is coming back by doing a surprise appearance at the game, walking out onto the field, grabbing the mic and saying "Cleveland, I'm home, let's go win a ring" and drops the mic on the field.

Unfortunately that didn't happen.

LeBron's love for being in the news by staying out of the news is sickening to me. Bad human imo.

Seriously, whatever quote LeBron had a few years ago about all of us having to still live our "day-to-day lives, with the same problems, while I get to keep being me" is so true. Hated him back then for saying it, but man he's right, there are some people making themselves miserable while he vacations, works a kids/High school camp in his name, and travels to Brazil for the World Cup.

Waiting this long to make the decision could mean one of two things--either he was leaning Cleveland but his time in Vegas solely spent with people from Miami (Riley and Wade) has caused him to reconsider, or he knew he was going to be around Wade in Vegas until today and he didn't want to have to face Wade after having bailed on Miami and left Wade holding the bag on Wade's $40 million losing bet.

Something tells me, as NFB predicted a couple days ago, it's the former--LBJ was leaning Cleveland, but somehow Riley and Wade pulled him back to Miami at least for another year or two.

Plus he flew BACK to Miami with Wade??? Eh? WTF?

The longer this goes on... damn... I don't even want to think about it. At least with 2010 there was a set date of the announcement and it was more up in the air where he was going. THIS time around we had no idea we were in it til last week and ALL the news til about yesterday seemed like Cleveland.REALLY making the fans feel it was a done deal. NOW he is going to pull the rug from under us?

How could he do that? Of course I thought the same way 4 years ago that there would be no way he would make a one hour special and decide he is leaving Cleveland... but it is getting that feel again.

Of course LeBron will say "I never said a thing... It's not MY fault you thought I was coming home" I say BULLSHIT! It was YOUR peeps in Akron feeding this shit to the local media saying you were coming home, ALL you had to do was to tell them to cool their jets and it is a slim chance. But NOOOOOOOOOOO, you had to build up hope."

Of course this is the cleveland fan in me... I am now expecting bad news, I can't believe I got hooked thinking he was going to come back.

Listening to Mike and Mike....(my first mistake), the keep saying the only thing holding LeBron back from Cleveland is "The Letter." Yet, yesterday on the The Big Show on 97.1, they kept saying that Gilbert and LeBron squashed that beef a long time ago.

That letter is going to end up biting Gilbert in the ass 4 years later. Why there was still a link to the letter on the Cavs website four years later is just stupid.
