His performance on the basketball court doesn't make me dislike him as a person any less. If you think for a second he's matured you're fooling yourself. He's just listening to PR people now is my guess. Not two months ago he was wearing a T-shirt with his own face on it that said "Earned Not Given."

Best basketball player in the world, absolutely. But a mature class act? GTFO.

I agree. I don't have a problem with it.

To Lebron's credit, I think he has demonstrated more maturity and leadership over the past year than he did the year before. I'll never get over the fact that he's wearing a Miami Heat jersey rewarding a bandwagon fanbase with his incredible play. But I will acknowledge that he is, without a doubt, the best player we've seen since Jordan and that he deserves all of the accolades that go along with it.

I really just don't need people telling me that I should be happy for him or proud of him. I'll save that for someone who might be grateful to have the support and someone who would honor those that have supported him.

That's the thinking for Miami Heat forward LeBron James, who said Sunday that he plans to return for USA Basketball and participate in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where he can chase his third gold medal.
The Associated Press reports that James made the comments in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, where he was attending a minor league baseball game.

Report: Nike's enhanced LeBron James signature sneaker to cost $315?

Nike will release the latest iteration of LeBron James' signature shoe -- the LeBron X -- later this year, and an enhanced version of the shoe featuring motion sensing technology will reportedly cost as much as $315. The sneaker's base model is expected to retail for $180, up from $170 last year, according to NikeBlog.com.
